The WEPA got going in 2007 on the back of the Inter Counties for which we entered in 2006. Our very first event was held in the Grand Hotel Moate where we had 60+ entrants, with the success of this event, we pushed it on more, just up the road in The Auld Shebeen's Club S until the end of 2011 having played several tournaments for Men, Ladies and Juniors. 

Since the very start of 2012 we decided to move more centrally to the county with our new and current venue being the Newbury Hotel Mullingar where the success is continuing.

With all our tournaments, players earn ranking points for which they can qualify for our Mens and Junior teams for the Inter County Championships.
