Inter County Men's Shield Winners 2017

Our Teams:
In terms of the Inter County Championships, our Men's A Team reached the Quarter Final stage on three occasions in the mid noughties, while claiming the Shield title in 2017. In the last few years, despite going with a seemingly stronger team, we've failed to progress, but knocking Antrim out last year (2016,17,18 champions) shows that we have a team to compete, but we all need to bring our best games to all matches to give ourselves a chance. Going forward, we have a lot of interest in our tournaments, with us being able to enter 3 men's teams into the respective categories.

Our Over-50's team has performed well in recent years, reaching the final in 2018. With more players falling into the 'Seniors' bracket, the team is getting better and will no doubt reach another final in the coming years, hopefully bringing home the title.

Our Ladies team is progressing well with a nice group of players there at the moment. With all the practice and tournament play they are getting in, they're certain to start challenging the better teams around the country in the next couple of years.

While we have a good number of players at Under23 level, but it has been hard to get a team together due to college exams on at the same time.

We've had a couple of good Junior teams in the last couple of years. If we can get them all together this year, there's definitely a title challenge in it for them.
